Tehran (IP)- Iranian Deputy Minister of Economy announced that Iran's trade with 15 neighboring countries has increased by 11.42% in the first 8 months of the year, reaching over $38.6 billion.

Iran PressIran news:  Mohammad Rezvani-Far also noted that Iran's total trade with other countries has surpassed 63 million tons, marking a 17.21% increase compared to the previous year.

Of this trade, more than $18 billion was allocated to exports and over $20 billion to imports. The largest portion of this trade was conducted with the United Arab Emirates, Afghanistan, and Armenia, amounting to nearly $18.7 billion.

Rezvani-Far highlighted that Iran's exports to these 15 neighboring countries have increased by 8.76% in value and 20.75% by weight, while imports have shown a respective increase of 13.95% and 6.87%.

Notably, Iran's commercial exchanges with the United Arab Emirates, Afghanistan, and Armenia have grown by 10.10%, 5.81%, and 12.26% in terms of value and by 7.30%, 21.20%, and 51% in terms of weight during this period.

These figures demonstrate a significant uptick in Iran's trade activity with its neighboring countries, indicating positive economic growth and potential opportunities for further expansion in the region.
