Iraq's National Security Advisor arrived in Kurdistan Region's Erbil, on the order of the Iraqi Prime Minister, to pursue implementing the Iran-Iraq security agreement to oust the terrorist elements from the country.

Iran PressWest Asia: A high-ranking security delegation led by Iraqi National Security Adviser Qassim Al-Araji arrived in Erbil before noon today (Monday) to follow up on implementing the security agreement between Iran and Iraq.

Meanwhile, a senior Iraqi official reported the ongoing evacuation of barracks and headquarters from separatist terrorist groups based in the Iraqi-Iranian borders, adding that the new supporting forces will be sent today to the border area to control the region. 

The security agreement was signed between Iran and Iraq on March 19, 2023, and its deadline was determined to be September 19, 2023.
