Artworks from seven Iranian artists have been shown in the Oman international visual arts exhibition in the country's capital Muscat.

Iran PressMiddle East: Iranian artists presented their works in painting, painting on textiles, needlework and mosaics.

The four-day event was inaugurated by Abdulaziz bin Mohammed al Rowas, a senior adviser to the Sultan of Oman on cultural affairs. 

Iranian ambassador to Oman Mohammad Reza Nouri Shahroudi also visited Iran’s stall at 'Oman International Art Fair', according to Iran Press.

Referring to brotherly ties between Iran and Oman, Shahroudi said the historic and cultural relations between the two countries created many common interests which can reinforce cooperation between Tehran and Muscat.

The event is being attended by over 120 artists from 22 countries in Oman.   101/211
