Iran Press/ Iran news: Referring to May 24, 1982, the anniversary of the liberation of Khorramshahr, the Leader of the revolution said: "The great saga of the conquest of Khorramshahr was truly and honestly a great feat."
He added: "After the conquest of Khorramshahr, some world's presidents and mediators paid a visit to Iran; Mr. Ahmed Sékou Touré, who was an important figure in Africa, came and told me that today your situation is different from yesterday because of the conquest of Khorramshahr."
The leader continued: "The greatness of the conquest of Khorramshahr attracts the eyes, but I want to say that the Bait-ul-Muqaddas operation is more or at least as important as the conquest of Khorramshahr, this operation that led to the conquest of Khorramshahr, these operations, those sacrifices, those initiatives, those plans and war plans that, in my opinion, should be taught in the war universities."
In this meeting, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Khamenei said: "From the beginning of the term of 11th Majlis, I believed that this parliament is revolutionary, and now after three years, I repeat the same".
The Leader elsewhere said: "Some of these laws that are approved in the parliament are strategic laws for the country that really deserve respect and praise. The strategic action law saved the country from wandering into the nuclear issue. This law clearly defined what we should do, we are still seeing its signs in the world. Or the family and youth protection law, which is one of those vital laws. Your law is different from what we say, what we say is like advice; Your law is enforceable and mandatory."
The leader of the Islamic Revolution added: "The law should be clear. It should not be in such a way that it needs interpretation again by the parliament or there will be a repeated debate. The law must be relied on comprehensive expertise and one of the characteristics of a good law is its enforceability. Stability is one of the characteristics. There must not be consecutive changes; Of course, the law must be updated, there is no doubt about it, but updating the law is one thing, successive changes, making notes, is another. It should be revised without conflict. When the law is suspended between these conflicts, the duty is suspended between different laws.
Ayatollah Khamenei noted: "The whole system is an integrated body with its pillars. If the branches of the government and all agencies are not complementary, they will no longer be useful. The view should be based on cooperation and synergy."
The Leader addressed the MPs: "You entered the parliament proudly, God willing, you will also leave proudly. The 7th Development Plan, realizing the slogan of the year, and completing half-finished plans and bills, are great tasks that are ahead of the MPs. The last year in this term of the parliament is the year of compensating for gaps and faults."
