Tehran (IP) - The spokesman of Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs criticized the Western female ministers' silence towards the suppression of women in France.

Iran PressIran News: The French police showed violent and insulting behavior toward the women protesting against Macron's reforms to the country's retirement law, which followed much condemnation and stirred many debates.

In a tweet on Saturday, Nasser Kanani said that with the current violence against the French protesters, particularly the women, the question remains in the minds of the general public that where the Australian, Canadian, and European feminists and female ministers are to support the French women.

"Why do they hold no mass concert in support of the rights of French protesting women?" Kanaani asked.

The French government is suppressing the countries' women and beating them brutally as in recent months was supporting a bunch of rioters, both men and women, in Iran that killed ordinary people and security forces, including police officers, damaged public properties, set fire on people, and attacked ambulances just in order to break the country's dress code.

Unrest and brawls were instigated in Iran in September 2022 under the pretext of Mahsa Amini, a 22-year-old woman, who died due to a sudden heart attack in a police center in Tehran on Tuesday, September 13, after being taken there for violation of dress codes along with some other women.

The French-backed rioters injured 7,000 policemen in Iran.
