Tehran (IP) - The Head of Iran's Department of Environment announced the observation of a male cheetah in Isfahan, central Iran, and said that enjoys the number of cheetahs.

Iran PressIran news: Speaking on the sidelines of the cabinet meeting on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, Ali Selajgeh told the reporter: "Naturally, 7 female cheetahs have been seen in the country, each with two cheetah cubs."

Still, Selajgeh pointed to the Iranian cheetah cub 'Pirouz' which died in the veterinary hospital, saying: "Pirouz had not consumed its mother's milk, it was weak in terms of his constitution, and, also was under quarantine conditions; due to digestive, kidney, and constipation issues, the cub died."

He said that despite the help of local experts and all veterinary capacities inside and outside the country and experts from South Africa, he was not survived.
