Iran Press/ Iran news: South Korean President Yoon Seok-yeolmade statements against the Islamic Republic of Iran while visiting South Korean troops in the United Arab Emirates.
He claimed: " the enemy of the UAE is Iran and our enemy is North Korea, We are in a similar situation with the UAE."
The President of South Korea arrived in Abu Dhabi on Saturday as part of a several-day official visit.
Regarding the statements of the South Korean president in the UAE, Nasser Kanani said : "The statements quoted from this Korean official indicate a lack of complete knowledge of the historical and friendly relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the countries of the Persian Gulf, including the United Arab Emirates."
He emphasized: "The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is seriously following up on the recent positions of South Korea, especially the statements of its president regarding the relations between Iran and the UAE, which lack the least diplomatic validity, and Iran would look forward to the explanation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Korea in this regard." 219
