Tehran (IP) - People across Iran, including the capital city of Tehran, started staging a rally to show their anger at the France-backed magazine Charlie Hebdo's desecration of Shia clerics and leaders.

Iran PressIran News: The French satirical weekly magazine, Charlie Hebdo, which once insulted the Holy Prophet of Islam for Islamophobic goals, has recently desecrated the Leader of Iran's Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei.

Staging the protest rally after the Friday Prayers, the people also condemned the intervention of the Western states, particularly the UK and France, in Iranian internal affairs and their support for the rioters in the recent unrest in Iran.

During the recent unrest in Iran under the pretext of the death of Mahsa Amini, 22, the enemies did exploit their political and media power to intensify violence in Iran.

A group of people instigated protests under the pretext of the death of Mahsa Amini in Tehran, where seditionists among the people committed desecrations and crimes.

The rioters destroyed public property, even ambulances, and set fire to houses, mosques, and people in the streets. They carried out armed attacks in some cities.

The 22-year-old girl from Kurdistan died in hospital on Friday, September 16, 2022 despite intensive medical care and resuscitation efforts.
