Iran Press/ Iran News: Fifteen pilgrims, including a woman and two children, lost their lives and at least 40 others were wounded as a heavily-armed terrorist attacked the popular shrine in Iran’s southwestern province. The attack occurred at around 5:45 p.m. local time (1415 GMT) on Wednesday, just before the evening prayers.
People of Fars province started the funeral ceremony of the martyrs of the terrorist attack in the Holy Shrine of Shahcheragh on Saturday from Imam Hossein (AS) square in Shiraz city.
The people and families of the martyrs of this incident, holding the pictures of the martyrs and chanting slogans against the crime of terrorists, started moving towards the holy shrine of Hazrat Shahcheragh (AS).
The ceremony was held in the presence of the governor, the representative of the Leader in the Fars province, judicial officials and senior military commanders of the IRGC, army and police.
