Tehran (IP) - The Interim Leader of Tehran's Friday Prayer says the enemies pursue the recent unrest in the country to collapse the unity and solidarity of the Iranian nation.

Iran PressIran news: Unrest and brawls were instigated under the pretext of Mahsa Amini, 22, who died due to a sudden heart attack in a police center in Tehran on Tuesday, September 13, after being taken there for violation of dress codes along with some other women.

Hojjatoleslam Mohammad-Hassan Abutorabifard said in the sermons of the Friday Prayer on October 14 that the recent incidents were a way to empower the Iranian nation who want to comprehend the economic, security, and political challenges they face. 

Abutorabifard considered culture, religion, and identity as the codename of the Iranian nation's unity and reminded the audience that the think tanks of the Pentagon intelligence services had targeted the very unity.

The recent days' events would prepare the grounds for the Iranian nation to gain a decisive experience and turn them into an invincible nation, the cleric noted.

He addressed the enemies of Islam and Iran, recalling that they had just paved the way to enhance Iran's political credibility. 

In the recent unrest, the foreign-baked media, along with the US politicians and some European leaders, spared no effort to exploit the pretext in support of the rioters in the name of the Iranians, while millions of people in Iran came out to condemn the rioters, and support the Islamic Republic.
