Tehran (IP) - The Spokesman for Iran's Judiciary said that Iran has always been one of the biggest victims of various forms of terrorism, including various types of cyber-attacks.

Iran PressIran news: Speaking at a weekly presser held on Tuesday, the Spokesman for Iran's Judiciary, Massoud Setayeshi, about US terrorist activities aimed at imposing sanctions on the Iranian Ministry of Intelligence stressed: "During the past years, Iran has always been one of the biggest victims of various forms of terrorism, including various types of cyber-attacks."

"These attacks were designed and carried out by the US administration and the Zionist regime, and in these attacks, Iran's important infrastructure was damaged, which could have claimed people's lives and destruction of properties, but it was neutralized by the measures of Iranian experts, He added."

Setayeshi further stated: "The Americans are brazenly trying to apply a new pressure against Iran with a label that has always been abused by them, which is definitely doomed to failure and disgraceful for them."

Albania cut diplomatic ties with Tehran after accused Iran of hacking government digital services and websites.

Iran has rejected the accusation that it was behind the attack as "baseless," calling Albania's decision to sever diplomatic ties "an ill-considered and short-sighted action."

The two countries have been bitter foes since the Balkan state began hosting members of the terrorist "Mojahedin-e-Khalq (MEK)" on its soil over Washington's request.

The official document on Iran's ownership of three islands 

The Spokesman for Iran's Judiciary said that the Real Estate Registration Organization of Iran had taken adequate measures to stabilize the officiarequestip of the islands.

He added that this action had been born in line with protecting Iran's national interests. Based on this, the document on ownership of the Greater and Lesser Tunbs and Bu Musa Island was issued under the name of the Islamic Republic of Iran government.

Iran reiterated its sovereignty over the three islands of Bu Musa, the Greater Tunb, and the Lesser Tunb in the Persian Gulf.

The islands of the Greater Tunb, the Lesser Tunb, and Bu Musa have historically been part of Iran, proof of which can be found and corroborated by countless historical, legal, and geographical documents in Iran and other parts of the world.

Martyr Khodayi's assassins were arrested

The Spokesman for Iran's Judiciary said that the assassins of Martyr Sayad Khodayi had been arrested, and legal order had been issued for them.

IRGC's Colonel Sayyad Khodaei, a Military advisor for the Syrian Army and one of the Holy Shrine Defenders, was assassinated in an armed attack by two motorcyclists on Mojahedin-e-Eslam Street in Tehran in May.

While honoring the memory of Martyr Sayad Khodayi, he said: "Thanks to the efforts of Iran's security forces under Ministry of intelligence and with the efforts of the relevant judicial unit, God willing, the main elements will be arrested soon, the case is being completed, and a very strong investigation has been conducted."

US procrastination Vienna talks; artificial respiration to terrorists

The Spokesman for Iran's Judiciary, referring to the US and the west's procrastination toward the Vienna talks aimed at removing anti-Iran sanctions, called the move a US artificial respiration to terrorist groups.

He further emphasized: "We expect the political institutions to stand up and deal decisively with appropriate and international legal provisions and measures."

Iranian detained Hajji innocent

The Spokesman of Iran's Judiciary says efforts are ongoing to release the Iranian Hajji, who was detained innocently by the Saudi government.

Saudis arrested Khalil Dardmand because he took a selfie photo next to Kaba while holding a picture of Martyr Lt. Gen. Qassem Solemani.   

In his weekly press conference on Tuesday, Masoud Setayeshi told reporters that the country's Attorney General communicated the necessary recommendations to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs about the Saudi government's arrest of the Iranian Hajji, Khalil Dardmand.

"Of course, the consular measures are being followed up and the International Affairs Office and the Human Rights Headquarters have also taken measures in this regard," he added. 

The Iranian Haj pilgrim Kalil Dardmand was detained by the Saudi Security forces one week after the end of the 2022 Hajj ritual.

Talking about the UN Special Rapporteur Elena Dohan's report, Seytayeshi said that the report provides solid evidence from the enforcers of the cruel sanctions that have been carried out and shows that despite the smearing campaign, the targets of the sanctions are the people, especially children, women, and the deprived of Iran.

He further stated sanctions aim to have a psychological and material effect on the people of Iran.

He concluded: "US are lying to the international community and should be held accountable, and we hope that the day will come when the leaders of the oppressive Western governments will answer the Iranian children, women, and elderly people who have lost their family members due to the lack of medicine."
