Tehran (IP)- Reacting to US officials' claims about delivering new Unmanned Aerial Vehicles(UAVs) to Moscow for use against Ukraine, the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson says the cooperation between Iran and Russia in the field of new technologies and drones dates back to the pre-Ukraine war.

Iran PressIran News: US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said Monday that the Biden administration claimed Iran was planning to deliver Russia "up to several hundred" Unmanned Aerial Vehicles(UAVs), including weapons-capable drones, for its war with Ukraine.

The history of cooperation between Iran and Russia in some modern technologies goes back to before the war in Ukraine, and there are no special developments in the recent period. It has not happened in this connection, Naser Kanaani, the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson reacted to US officials' claims.

The spokesperson added: The United States and the Europeans have for years turned the occupying and aggressor countries, including in the West Asian region, into a storehouse of their various deadly weapons, without these weapons, the continuation of more than seven decades of aggression, crime and Zionist occupation was not possible in the occupied territories.
