Tehran (IP) - The commemoration ceremony of the anniversary of the June 28th (7th of Tir) terrorist attack and the martyrdom of Ayatollah Beheshti and 72 of his fellow martyrs was held on Tuesday in Tehran.

Iran PressIran news: Former Minister of Intelligence Heidar Moslehi, a group of officials, executive officials, martyrs' families, Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) and police commanders, and the people attended the ceremony.

The event was also held with anthems, reminiscences, autographs, and eulogies by various groups.

While describing the human, moral, political, and cultural characteristics of Ayatollah Shahid Beheshti, the family of one of the martyrs of the 7th of Tir emphasized that the enemy's intention was targeting the Islamic system which did not succeed.

Another family member of the martyrs of this incident referred to the character of martyr Beheshti, saying: "He always sought to create jobs in the country, and he tried for this purpose at every opportunity. At the same time, he had sobriety and majesty, full of feeling and emotion. Their meetings were usually lively and lively, and complete honesty was evident in their judgments and comments.

On the occasion of the martyrdom of Ayatollah Beheshti and 72 of his companions, the first week of July has been named Judiciary Week in Iran.
