IME Weekly Report:

Tehran (IP)- Within the week ending on June 17th, 2022, the Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) witnessed a trade of 1.9 million tonnes of commodities with a total trading value of almost 647 million USD on its physical market.

Iran PressIran News: According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the exchange saw on its metals and minerals trading floor trade of 1,417,000 tonnes of commodities valued at more than 324 million USD.

On this floor, the IME sold more than 726 tonnes of cement, 312,000 tonnes of iron ore, more than 298 tonnes of steel, 34,500 tonnes of sponge iron, more than 10 thousand tonnes of aluminum, 10,500 tonnes of copper, more than 26 thousand tonnes of zinc, 150 tonnes of molybdenum concentrate, 1,000 tonnes of cast iron ingots, 1,000 tonnes of coke and 9 kg of gold bars.

Furthermore, the IME witnessed on both domestic and export rings of its oil and petrochemical trading floor 495,944 tonnes of commodities worth almost 316 million USD.

Commodities traded on this floor included 93,287 tonnes of polymeric products, 163,429 tonnes of bitumen, 50,000 tonnes of lube cut, 18,400 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 44,968 tonnes of chemicals, 1,370 tonnes of sulfur, 5,191 tonnes of base oil and 100 tonnes of argon.

The IME also traded within the same week 6,147 tonnes of commodities on its side market.
