Islamabad (IP) - The head of the Jamaat-e-Haram movement, a prominent Pakistani cleric, said that although Imam Khomeini belonged to the Shite religion, he was always active beyond one religion.

Iran PressAsia: June 4 was the demise anniversary of the late Founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Imam Khomeini.

The Islamic Revolution won with the comprehensive struggle of Imam Khomeini (RA) and the mobilization of different units of the people under his leadership on 22 Bahman 1357 (February 1979). In the meantime, the role of Imam Khomeini's leadership in the victory of the Islamic Revolution was prominent, and his ideas have been influential outside the borders of Islamic Iran.

Mufti "Golzar Ahmad Naimi," in an interview with IranPress, stated that Imam Khomeini was always present on the scene in support of the oppressed and anti-arrogant. He added that Imam Khomeini was beyond color and religion.

Still, he supported the oppressed of the world. Whenever the arrogant oppressed the people, Imam Khomeini acted against them. This character of Imam Khomeini distinguished him from all world leaders; Imam's revolution was based on human dignity and support for the oppressed.

Mufti Gulzar Ahmad Naimi said that although all the arrogant powers supported the Shah's regime in Iran, Imam Khomeini, with the support of the people, was able to defeat all the conspiracies of the West.

The Pakistani religious scholar emphasized that Imam Khomeini's message was not only for Muslims but that he was active in guiding human beings, and we have seen an example of this in his message to Mikhail Gorbachev.
