Iran Press/ Iran News: During a visit to the institute on Sunday, the directors of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs examined the capacity and export opportunities of the institute's products.
With more than 90 years of experience, Razi Vaccine and Serum Research Institute is one of the oldest and most prestigious scientific and research centers of Iran and the Middle East.
Ali Eshaqi, said on the sidelines of the visit: "Razi Institute has two tasks, one manufacturing the biological products, the other research and development in the field of veterinary medicine."
Eshaqi added: "Now that the domestic market is almost supplied, the high potential for export of Razi Institute products is very high and for example, Iraq is one of the markets where the production of vaccines in this country is provided by Razi Institute by 2024."
Referring to 5 types of livestock vaccines and 2 types of poultry ones in the field of poultry, in addition to biological vaccines, he said: "The export capacity of this type of vaccine is also available."
Eshaqi also called the recombinant corona protein vaccine, which is an injectable and inhaled compound, one of the rare examples and added: "Because the combination of this vaccine is very popular, it is a suitable type for export."
