Palestine (IP) - The custodianof Al-Aqsa Mosque says the message of Quds Day is that the world's Muslims are responsible for the holy site, the navigator of the Muslims.

Iran PressMiddle East: Sheikh Omar al-Keswani told Iran Press (IP) that Al-Aqsa Mosque was being attacked every day by the Israeli regime's troops and called on Muslims to defend the holy place. 

On the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan, by the initiative of the Founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Imam Khomeini, people across the world show united support for the oppressed people of Palestine to be the voice of the voiceless people of Palestine.

Also, a senior leader of Palestine's Islamic Jihad Movement told IP the attacks on Al-Aqsa Mosque originated from some Arab states' betrayal of the Palestinian cause. 

The Israeli attacks on Al-Aqsa Mosque have escalated during the days leading to Quds Day, while some Arab states, including the UAE and Saudi Arabia, have kept their lips closed.

The coming Friday, April 29, 2022, is Quds World Day. 

It is for about 43 years that the people of the world have held rallies on the occasion of Quds Day, under the initiative of the founder of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, to protest the Israeli occupation of Palestine and support the oppressed people of the country. 

Since 1948 when the US-backed regime of Israel occupied the Muslim country, it has constantly been clashing with the Palestinian people, killing them, jailing them, destroying their homes, and constructing new settlements for the Zionist settlers.
