The Yemeni army and popular committees fired missiles at a Saudi troop gathering in Jizan, in southern Saudi Arabia.

Iran Press- Middle East: According to Almasirah TV Network, the Saudi troops were targeted by Zelzal-1 ballistic missiles and sustained heavy casualties.

Meanwhile, Yemen artillery and missile unit fired two missiles at Jizan Airport late last Thursday, IRNA reported.

Aramco Refinery was also targeted by four missiles last Tuesday.

Earlier, on August 26, Yemen's Houthi movement reportedly launched two Zelzal-1 missiles in the direction of Saudi Arabian provinces along the border, targeting "gatherings of Saudi soldiers," one located in Jizan and the other in Najran.

Yemen has frequently targeted Saudi sites in response to the Coalition’s merciless offensives since Saudi Arabia started military war against the impoverished country.

The military attack has not only failed to eliminate the fledgling popular revolution in Yemen, but has also cost dearly for the two active members of the coalition; Saudi Arabia and UAE.

Since March 2015, the Saudi-led coalition has been conducting airstrikes against Yemen.

Saudi Arabia has also imposed a blockade on Yemen, which has smothered humanitarian deliveries of food and medicine to the import-dependent state.
