Tehran (IP)- Head of Iran's Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said in a radio program that a number of Iranian vaccine developers had customers abroad, and about 4 million doses of the vaccine had been exported.

Iran PressIran News: The Head of Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Bahram Daraei pointed to the start of the approval of COVIran Barekat vaccine and the urgent need of Nicaragua to COVID-19 vaccine, adding: "The 'COVIran Barekat' is in the final stages of approval by the World Health Organization (WHO)."

The Vice-President of Iran's Judiciary for International Affairs, Kazem Gharibabadi, and the Director-General of WHO Tedros Adhanom met each other earlier on the sidelines of the 49th high-ranking meeting of the UN Human Rights Council.

The director general of the World Health Organization (WHO) says it will accelerate the assessment and registration of the Iranian-made COVID vaccines. 

Adhanom highlighted the high vaccination rate in Iran, both for the Iranian and the foreign refugees, and said the pandemic situation stabilized in Iran.
