Leader pardons, commutes sentences of over 740 inmates

Tehran (IP) - The Leader of the Islamic Revolution agreed to pardon or commute the sentences of 741 convicts of the public and revolutionary courts, the judiciary of the armed forces, and governmental discretionary punishments.

Iran Press/ Iran News: On the occasion of Eid al-Mab’ath, Iran's Judiciary Chief Gholamhossein Mohseni-Eje'i, in a letter to Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, proposed amnesty or commutation of 741 convicts, to which the Leader agreed.
