Nigeria (IP) – Nigerian Shi'a Muslims in many towns have visited Churches for celebrating the auspicious birth anniversary of Jesus Christ, son of Mary, on Saturday 25th, December 2021, in a move to promote peace and mutual understanding between Muslims and Christians who fought and killed each other in many times.

Iran PressAfrica: In his speech during the celebrations, leader of ECWA Church, News GRA in Bauchi State of Northern Nigeria, Reverend father, Yakubu Wakili said he watched video clips of the leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, during a visit to Christians families in Tehran, presented their gifts. He said this made him understand that not all Muslims dislike or hate Christians.

He said he understood that followers of Ahlulbayt don't stigmatize Christians and other non-Muslims.
