Next JCOPA Joint Commission underway to discuss Iran's text

Vienna (IP) - After Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister met the EU coordinator in the Vienna talks, he said the ground were prepared for the next meeting of the JCPOA Joint Commission.

Iran PressEurope: Ali Bagheri Kani said that the other side's views on the text proposed by Iran to the P4 + 1 group will be examined at the meeting of the Joint Commission of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) on Friday, December 3, 2021.

The meeting was convened at the request of European parties seeking a deadline to return to their countries and review Iran's proposed texts.

On Wednesday night, Iran presented its proposed text to the other side, which revolved around two topics: the lifting of oppressive sanctions, and nuclear issues.

Iran's top negotiator says if the other side is ready to continue the talks, the Islamic Republic of Iran will see no obstacles in this regard and stay in Vienna to continue the talks.

The new round of Vienna talks began last Monday, November 29, with the presence of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the P4 + 1 countries to lift the US' illegal sanctions. Ali Bagheri Kani is the head of the Iranian negotiating team in Vienna.

In the previous 6 rounds of the negotiations, no agreement has been reached, but what has been achieved is a draft and can be negotiated.

The Islamic Republic of Iran considers commenting and negotiating on all the issues obtained in previous periods as its own rights, and basically, the reason why it has sent a high-level and delegation to Vienna is to use the rights.

Iran is determined to reach a fair agreement that serves the interests of the Iranian nation, as soon as possible, if the other parties take constructive steps.

Meanwhile, Iran is not in a state of emergency and considers reaching a good and precise agreement more important than a hastily-reached agreement.
