During his visit to Syria, the Iranian Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade said that there was a lot of potentials for the development of economic relations between the two countries.

Iran PressMiddle East: According to Iran Press News Agency, Seyed Reza Fatemi Amin said: "During the trip to Syria, we will have good proposals in accordance with the capacities and conditions of the two countries, which is an important turning point for Tehran-Damascus relations."

Mohammad Samer Al-Khalil, Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade of Syria, said at the welcoming ceremony of Fatemi Amin: "The visit of the Iranian delegation to Syria will take place in the framework of continuing cooperation and solidarity between the two sides to strengthen relations in various fields."

He noted that the trip focuses on the economic aspects of trade, industry and investment.

The Syrian Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade also stated that the visit of the Iranian delegation is carried out while important meetings at the official level will be held and the second exhibition of Iranian products in Damascus where 164 Iranian companies participate from different sectors will inaugurate and Iranian experiences and capabilities in various fields will be transferred; all of this is what Syria needs.

He also said that these meetings will provide an opportunity to review the investment law as well as the most important investment opportunities in Syria.

Iran's Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade arrived in Syria on Sunday at the head of a high-level economic delegation and was welcomed by the country's Minister of Economy.
