London (IP) - Gasoline prices in Britain continue to rise at a slow pace.

Iran PressEurope: The price of a liter of gasoline at gas stations in Britain has reached more than 1.43 pounds, and each liter of diesel has reached 1.49 pounds.

The rising trend in fuel prices in Britain began about a month ago and continues.

The fuel shortage crisis in Britain, which had terrified the British for two months, subsided a month after the army interfered, but rising fuel prices have become a new crisis.

Iran Press report from London fuel stations shows that in some stations, a number of pumps are still inactive; Iran Press' exclusive footage of three gas stations in the Creek Wood neighborhood shows that there are two active stations and one inactive station.

Gasoline prices at fuel stations in Britain recently reached a nine-year high due to rising crude oil prices on world markets; according to official data, fuel prices have not risen as much since September 2012.

The British Statistics Center reports 4.2 percent inflation, the highest figure in 10 years. So the British people will experience Christmas 2022 with the most expensive fuel in the last nine years and the highest inflation in the last ten years.
