Hague(IP): The clashes between Dutch police forces and the COVID-19 restrictions protesters have reached the Hague.

Iran PressEurope: COVID-19 restrictions protesters took to the streets in the Hague, the Netherlands, on Saturday night, setting fire to bicycles and blocking some of the Hague streets from police.

Hundreds of protesters took to the streets in the Hague to express their anger at the proposed vaccination permit and ban on fireworks on New Year's Eve. Dozens of protesters were detained by Dutch police following the clashes.

Rioting erupted in the Netherlands on Friday in response to new COVID-19 restrictions. Police opened fire on protesters and seven people were injured during a demonstration in Rotterdam.

In the past, cities in the Netherlands, including Rotterdam, have also been the scene of clashes between police and protesters against new COVID-19 restrictions on areas.
