Tehran (IP): 16th National Sheikh Baha'i Technopreunership Festival (SHTF), which will conclude on Thursday, November 18th, will introduce Iran's best investment opportunities in the technology sectore.

Iran PressIran news: The festival comprises of two general sections, competitive and non-competitive. 

The competitive section is held with a change compared to previous versions in two areas: First, business designers and second, technopreneurship and commercialization of technology. 

The non-competitive section includes exhibitions, exchanging ideas, marketing activities such as business matching sessions, training seminars, and workshops.

Speaking at a press conference on Saturday, Abdolreza Kabiri, the secretary of the SHTF, described the main objectives of the Sheikh Bahai Technopreneurship Festival as fostering the culture of creativity, innovation, and technopreneurship and identifying and encouraging technopreneurs throughout the world. 

The festival encompasses all technopreneurs fields, including technical and engineering, hygienic and medicine, basic sciences, agriculture, humanities, culture and art, services, etc.

He added that identifying the best technopreneurs, the best business planners, and the best technopreneur sponsors will be carried out in the competitive section.

Out of 368 plans submitted to the festival, 13 companies made it to the final stage of the technology and commercialization section. Finally, two companies were nominated for Dr. Mahmoud Sheikh Zainuddin Industrial Technology Award.

In the business planners section, ten plans made it to the final stage.

The festival's closing ceremony will be held simultaneously with the World Entrepreneurship Week on November 17th and 18th, introducing the winners.
