Tehran (IP): The Museum of Iranian Historical Cars opened this morning in Tehran, the capital city of Iran.

Iran PressIran news: According to the officials of the Museum of Historical Cars of Iran, the preparations for the opening of this museum had been made months ago, but due to coronavirus restrictions, the opening ceremony was postponed to today.

The ceremony was attended by Parviz Fattah, President of the Mostazafan Foundation of Iran's Islamic Revolution, and Ezzatollah Zarghami, Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Iran.

61 unique historical vehicles belonging to the Qajar and Pahlavi eras are on display at the museum.

According to the relevant officials, the Museum of Historical Cars of Iran has been constructed at a cost of 120 billion Tomans in an area of 11,000 square meters.

One of the most important cars on display at this museum is the only 500K Mercedes Benz in the world, which has been exposed to the public along with the first model of Rolls-Royce's Silver Ghost owned by Ahmad Shah Qajar.

The royal carriage of Nasser al-Din Shah Qajar is another unique feature of this museum.
