Tehran (IP) - The Head of Iraq's Sunni Scholar Community says a strong will is needed to thwart the US-led plots in sowing discord among the Islamic Ummah.

Iran Press/Iran news: Speaking at Tehran's 35th edition of the International Islamic Unity Conference, Khalid Abdul Wahhab warned the Muslims against division, saying religious belief differences turned into a factor clash.

The Sunni top scholar said: "If they killed Soleimani and Abu Mahdi, thousands of Soleimani and Abu Mahdi will be born."

"The enemies have not learned a lesson from our history. Imam Hussein was martyred for God, but because of his blood, true Islam will survive until the Day of Judgment, and this doubles the importance of Imam Hussein's pilgrimage," he added.
