Tehran (IP) - Iran's Foreign Minister said that Bringing the perpetrators of the assassination of the late IRGC's Quds Force Commander to justice would be a definite policy.

Iran PressIran news: Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian on Tuesday in the Special Committee for Legal and International Prosecution of the Assassination of Lt. General Qassem Soleimani, while emphasizing the need to take action, to keep alive the memory of Lieutenant General Soleimani, the national hero of the international fight against terrorism, as well as the role of US officials and government in the unforgivable crime of assassinating Lt. Gen. Soleimani, stated: "Continuing the pursuit of this case and bringing state terrorists to justice is one of the definitive policies."

Amir-Abdullahian emphasized: "The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran will act with determination with its inherent duty in pursuing this issue legally, politically and internationally."

Lt. Gen. Qassem Soleimani, commander of the IRGC's Quds Force, and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, deputy leader of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization  Units (Al-Hashd al-Shabi), along with eight others, became martyred on January 3, 2020, in an airstrike by US aggressors and terrorists near Baghdad Airport.
