A Lebanese Parliament member says the arrival of the Iranian oil tanker to Lebanon will end the country's blockade.

Iran PressMiddle East: Hassan Fadlallah said while the Lebanese were preparing to receive the Iranian oil, with the arrival of the first ship, the US-imposed siege began to break down and grounds were prepared to alleviate the Lebanese crisis.

Noting that the US was surprised by considering the Iranian ship for Lebanon as its "territory," Fadlallah added the majority of the Lebanese people welcomed Hezbollah's humanitarian initiative, for they were demanding national remedies avoiding sectarianism.   

He referred to the reduction of the Lebanese crisis and said that the arrival of the Iranian oil tanker caused the decision to cancel the fuel subsidy in Lebanon to be abandoned, and therefore was followed by many economic and political advantages for the Lebanese people. 219
