Tehran (IP) - The spokesman of the presiding board of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran said: "If the steps underway against the coronavirus are not taken properly, the Assembly will not remain silent."

Iran PressIran news: In an interview with Iran Press News Agency, Nezamodin Mousavi added: "The parliament naturally does not take executive action in the field of health and the coronavirus, but monitors taken steps and coordinate tasks."

The member of the parliament said: "The Health and Medical Commission of the parliament is active in this field, and the Article 90 Commission will act where necessary to follow up the matter."

The spokesman of the parliament's presiding board said: "If those in charge do not act well, they will be called and asked for a report and explanation."
