Red Crescent's 7th vaccine shipment enters Iran

Tehran (IP) - The head of the Iranian Red Crescent Society announced that the seventh shipment of the COVID vaccine of the Red Crescent arrived in Iran.

Iran PressIran news: Karim Hemmati, the head of the Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) said: "Today, Sunday, the seventh consignment of vaccines prepared by the Red Crescent Society was delivered to the Ministry of Health of Iran at Imam Khomeini Airport for fast and nationwide distribution."

Hemmati added: "At this stage, 1,131,600 doses of vaccine were imported into the country; and with the arrival of this consignment, which has been transferred to Iran by nine flights, a total of 8,174,400 doses of vaccine have entered the country.

The Iranian Red Crescent has imported seven shipments of the coronavirus vaccine, and a sixth shipment was shipped to Iran last Thursday.
