Iran Press/ Iran news: Iran's Health Minister, Saeed Namaki, announced the issuance of an emergency license for the Iranian Pasteur vaccine.
The vaccine, which is the second Iranian vaccine after the COVIran Barekat to receive an emergency license for public use, is the joint vaccine of the Pasteur Institute of Iran and the Finlay Institute of Cuba.
Namaki added: "This vaccine was clinically tested in the third phase of a clinical trial on 44,000 people in Cuba and 25,000 in Iran."
Iran's Health Minister also said: "Experts in the Food and Drug Administration have approved the vaccine, so it, as an Iranian vaccine, will be added to the homemade vaccines."
