Iran Press/ Iran News: The diameter of the telescope's main mirror made in Iran is 3.4 meters, and its 90-ton structure observes celestial objects with very high accuracy.
The dome of the telescope is 24 meters high and 16 meters in diameter, and its rotating part weighs 250 tons.
This telescope is equipped with active optics.
