Iran's ambassador and permanent representative to international organizations announced that Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Deputy Foreign Minister and Chairman of the Iranian Negotiating team, met with the Director-General of the International Atomic Energy Agency.

Iran PressEurope: Iranian Envoy to International Atomic Energy Agency Kazem Gharibabadi noted that during the meeting, the two sides discussed the latest developments in the ongoing talks to revive the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and the possible assistance of the Agency to this process.

Araghchi and Grossi also reviewed the latest state of bilateral cooperation.

Seyed Abbas Araghchi is attending the ongoing meeting of the Joint Commission of JCPOA in Vienna, the capital of Austria.

Participants in the JCPOA Joint Commission meeting in Vienna are expected to continue consultations on the possible return of the United States to Iran's Nuclear Deal and ensure that the agreement is fully and effectively implemented.

During Donald Trump's presidency, Washington unilaterally imposed economic terrorism with the aim of putting maximum pressure on the people of Iran.

Iran fully complied with its obligations under the nuclear deal within a year of the US's illegal withdrawal from the JCPOA and gave European countries a chance to live up to their commitments.

The Islamic Republic of Iran has also stated that it will not accept any new conditions or demands for the return of the United States to the JCPOA. 219
