Iran Press/ Iran News: The national volleyball team of Iran in the 2021 FIVB Volleyball Men’s Nations League has so far won over the teams of the Netherlands, Canada, Italy, Bulgaria, and the United States and has lost to the teams of Japan, Russia, Serbia, Germany, and Australia.
Mahmoud Afshardoost, a member of the Board of Directors of the Volleyball Federation, said: "The Iranian national volleyball team did not start the tournament well and played two bad games, but it got better in every game."
This volleyball expert added: "In the third game onwards, they played better, which is a positive point."
Mahmoud Afshardoost went on to say: "The technical staff of the Iranian national volleyball team in the FIVB Volleyball Men’s Nations League has tested each and every Iranian player and will reach the best composition."
The potential of Iranian volleyball is such that it could have won in the games it lost, he added.
Mahmoud Afshardoost said: "The youth present in the composition of the Iranian national volleyball team should be allowed to gain the necessary experience because the goal is the success of Iranian volleyball in the Tokyo Olympics."
