Tehran (IP) - In his speech before the second presidential debate, the candidate said that the people must be reassured that the current situation would change to their benefit.

Iran PressIran News: Ebrahim Raisi said that if he were elected, the situation would change in favor of the people, hopefully.

Saeed Jalili, another candidate, told reporters the debate was expected to address such issues as the rural population, which makes up to 25 percent of the country's population.

He also stressed that the debates should focus on women, youth, and sports.

Also, Amir-Hossein Ghazizadeh-Hashemi, as another candidate for the presidential election, said that he became a candidate to change the situation.

Ghazizadeh-Hashemi stated that good ideas were put forward in the cultural and social fields, and these cases will be followed up in his new governance model of the country.

People should hope that perfect steps can be taken even in difficult conditions, he concluded.
