Iran Press/ Iran news: Delivering a speech on Wednesday in a gathering formed in support for the Palestinian nation, Major General Hossein Salami referred to some Arab states’ normalization of ties and said: “Unfortunately, some small and humiliated countries normalized relations with Israel, but they did not know that Palestine would never be forgotten, and suddenly the scene changed and thousands of kilometers away, the Zionist areas were targeted.”
Thousands of rockets were fired at Tel Aviv for the first time after nearly 60 years, and more than two-thirds of the occupied territories were under heavy Palestinian resistance’s fire in Gaza, such that there was no safe point left for the Israelis, he added.
He noted: “What Israel was proud of, like the Iron Dome and all those massive Israeli anti-missile defense systems, surrendered to a large number of resistance’s missiles, and no one was able to help the Israelis, and for the first time the Americans left Israel alone”.
The commander of IRGC also recalled the Israeli regime’s sabotage in the Natanz facility and pointed to the explosions in the regime’s refinery and ammoniac reservoirs, saying that the Zionist regime suffered an unprecedented defeat and new jihad begun against the regime.
“The Israelis and the Americans are trapped between two defeats, if they retreat, they will fail, and if they continue, they will lose. The US is retreating in the region today, it has failed, and if it stays in the region, it will be doomed to fail,” he pointed out. 219
