Trilateral meeting between Iran, Russia, China held in Vienna

Vienna (IP): A trilateral meeting between the heads of delegations of Iran, Russia, and China was held in Vienna, the capital of Austria.

Iran PressEurope: On the eve of the resumption of Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) Joint Commission meetings in Vienna, a trilateral coordination meeting was held today (Tuesday) between the heads of the Iranian, Russian, and Chinese delegations in Vienna.

During the meeting, they reviewed the latest status of talks on the possible return of the United States to JCPOA and the lifting of sanctions against Iran, calling for the immediate lifting of US sanctions as a necessary condition for the country's return to this agreement.

The heads of delegations of these three countries stressed the need for continued consultation and serious coordination in negotiations.

The meeting of the JCPOA Joint Commission will be held today, Tuesday, in the presence of the delegations of Iran and the P4 + 1 (Germany, France, Britain, Russia, and China) and the representative of the European Union in Vienna, the capital of Austria.

The Iranian delegation will be chaired by Abbas Araghchi, Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister.
