Chief of General Staff:

Tehran (IP) - The Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran called the lifting of sanctions imposed on Iran under any topic as Iran's strategic policy, and said that in case of sanctions removal and verification in practice, Iran would return to its nuclear obligations.

Iran Press/Iran News: Major General Mohammad Bagheri, Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, this morning (Saturday) at the 25th National Conference of Police Force Commanders, Deputies, Chiefs, and Managers, noting that the enemy is trying to hold long, useless talks along with making new claims and demands with the Islamic Republic of Iran, stated: "The strategic policy of the Islamic Republic, as outlined by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, is simply the complete lifting of sanctions that have been imposed on the Islamic Republic of Iran under any topic."

He noted: "If these sanctions are lifted and verified in practice, then Iran, as always, has been logical regarding its promises and will return to its nuclear commitments."
