If delay returning to JCPOA, US will lose: IAEO Spox.

Tehran (IP) - The Spokesman for Iran's Atomic Energy Organization said if the Americans delay returning to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), they would be more likely to lose.

Iran Press/Iran news: Behrouz Kamalvandi said on Friday that the current US administration believed that it could put pressure on Iran again, but if they were wise, they should calculate and see that all the pressure from Donald Trump was ineffective.

Kamalvandi said the view of the two ruling parties in the United States was that they did want to have complete control of the world, but just through different tactics.

Although the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) must be a technical body, it was under the countries' political pressure, he noted.

The nuclear official said Iran was capable of redesigning Arak's reactor facility independent of the US and even China, adding that in early 1400 (Persian year), the reactor's pilot testing would be conducted before its full operation.

"Concerning the radiopharmaceuticals field, despite the sanctions, we were able to meet our needs without any problems, and besides, we are the exporter of radiopharmaceuticals in this situation," he pointed out.
