No different voice concerning JCPOA in Iran: Speaker

Tehran(IP)- The speaker of Iran's Parliament said there was one voice over the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), and the law of strategic action for lifting sanctions is considered a tool of bargaining.

Iran Press/Iran News: Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf pointed to the JCPOA as an international document confirmed by the UN Security Council, noting the reduction of the implementation of Additional Protocol, %20 uranium enrichment, and operation of Arak heavy water reactor were of the important steps in the law of strategic action for lifting sanctions.

Emphasizing an active approach in dealing with the JCPOA parties, he said: "This law will help more in lifting sanctions and will produce power for us."

Responding to the question of whether the parliament law does not prevent the parties from coming to negotiate, Ghalibaf said: "This is law within the framework of JCPOA, and we have never violated our obligations in JCPOA.

"We have never acted against our obligations to the JCPOA, but it is not fair that we implement the JCPOA while others don't," the parliament speaker answered.

"There is definitely more opportunities and bargaining power in the ongoing negotiations, and the other side knows well that we are determined," he said.
