SNSC secretary:

Tehran (IP)- Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) believes that US officials have not yet reached a definite will and decision to fulfill their obligations.

Iran PressIran News: In an interview with ISNA, Ali Shamkhani said: "In the field of foreign policy, we are witnessing a decline in US political and economic power in West Asia."

"None of the proposals made so far by the West has met Iran's demands and interests," Shamkhani added, stressing: "The United States and Europe have not lived up to their commitments from the beginning, and it was not just about the former US President Donald Trump era."

Shamkhani also said that by adopting an active resistance strategy, Iran began a step-by-step process of reducing its obligations in JCPOA, and the Western parties realized that it was not possible to continue the delay without paying a fee.

He noted that the ratification of the Strategic Action Plan to Lift Sanctions by the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran also accelerated the movement.
