Iran Press/Iran News: Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on Wednesday during his weekly cabinet session referred to the US sanctions, adding: "We want to say to the White House, return to the law and do not be ashamed. Do not hesitate, and be aware that with your return to Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), we will return to all our obligations."
The President said: "The designers of Iran's defeat, the designers of bringing the Iranian nation to its knees, today explicitly admit their own defeat. This means the victory of the Iranian nation."
Rouhani added: "Sanctions must be lifted. Sanctions are oppression to the people and they are the Zionists' demand. We must not let their demand be realized."
He continued by emphasising that the Islamic Republic of Iran has explicitly stated that if the party that violates the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) returns to its obligations, Iran will also return to the full implementation of its obligations, adding, "We hope that those who broke the law yesterday and are saying today that we want to abide by the law show this in practice.”
“They should show in practice that they want to enforce the law and do not want to continue the economic terrorism of the previous government. From January 20 until today, every hour that passes means that you are breaking the law, and this must be recorded in history,” said the President.
Rouhani added, "All conditions are ready for all 7 countries to return to their commitments. The United States must take the first step in returning to the deal, as it has been the first party to break the commitment.”
“The United States should know that we are ready to implement the deal; we are ready to perform the JCPOA whole in exchange for whole, as we are also ready to perform part in exchange for part. We are ready to act on all obligations against all obligations, and we are ready to act on part of the obligation against part of the obligation,” he continued.
Rouhani stated, "Of course, some of the problems are natural, some of the problems are related to the terrorist administration of the United States, the path of which unfortunately the new administration is still continuing.” 101
