Tehran (IP) - Spokesman for Iran's Civil Aviation Organization has denied allegations that an Armenian Boeing 737 disappeared in Iranian airspace.

Iran PressIran News: The Spokesman for the Civil Aviation Organization (CAO) of Iran, Mohammad Hassan Zibakhsh said on Thursday: "A Boeing 737 belonging to Armenia, passing through Iran's airspace, landed at Mehrabad Airport in Tehran at the request of the pilot."

Zibakhsh added: "The Armenian airline's technical group is removing the problems of this plane at Mehrabad Airport."

Iran's CAO spokesman noted: "This plane was without passengers."

Some Armenian media outlets have claimed that a Boeing aircraft went missing in Iranian airspace.
