Tehran (IP) - Iran's Ministry of Health spokeswoman announced on Thursday that 1,665,103 people in the country has been infected with the coronavirus, and 1,420,958 recovered.

Iran Press/Iran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to March 4, 2021, newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 8,404 cases out of whom 709 patients were hospitalized, Sima Sadat Lari stated.

She noted that in the past 24 hours, 78 COVID-19 patients had lost their lives, bringing the total death toll to 60,431.

3,760 COVID-19 patients are in critical condition, according to the spokeswoman.

So far, 11,092,900 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across the country, the Health Ministry spokeswoman pointed.

According to the latest analysis, 11 cities are in red, 32 in orange, 251 in yellow, and 154 in the blue zones.

Ahvaz, Karun, Abadan, Khorramshahr, Dezful, Shooshtar, Shadegan, Ramhormoz, Hoveyzeh, Bandar Mahshahr, and Dashte Azadeghan are red zones.
