Tehran (IP) - Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman said that Iran had not seen any change in the United States' inhumane policies against Iran so far.

Iran Press/Iran News: Saeed Khatibzadeh, on Monday during his weekly press conference, referred to the policies of Joe Biden's administration, saying: "So far, we have not seen any change in the inhumane policies of the United States against Iran in practice. The US government is committing a cognitive mistake trying to continue the previous US administration path with negative multilateralism."

Accusations, threats against Iran do not work

Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman noted that accusation and threats against Iran would not work and said: "We respond positively vis-à-vis positive action, and if we see a different action, we will respond appropriately."

He stated that the United States' path was to overcome the previous US administration's wrong policies, which did not change in practice and its anti-Iranian policy in exerting maximum pressure on the Iranian nation continues.

He noted that European countries were proceeding in violation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and added: "The offer was made without a timeline, but we said it was a clear path. If the United States wants to have a seat at the JCPOA, it must announce its return to the deal, fulfill its obligations, and lift sanctions."

"We respond positively vis-à-vis positive action, and if we see a different action, we will respond appropriately," he underlined.

Khatibzadeh called on European parties in the JCPOA to consider the path already taken and keep in mind that the path of cooperation worked better than any other path and noted that accusation and threats against Iran would not work.

Netanyahu's remarks indicator of new turmoil in occupied territories

Regarding Netanyahu's recent remarks that he would not allow Iran to acquire a nuclear weapon, he said: "The pathological obsession of the Zionist Prime Minister is not a new issue, but it indicates a new turmoil in the occupied territories; which is the result of adventurous behavior."

He highlighted that Iran closely monitors the situation, and these projections would not benefit the corrupt Zionist prime minister.

The spokesperson stressed that there was no nuclear weapon in Iran's doctrine, but the Western world had turned a blind eye to hundreds of Israeli nuclear weapons.

In another part of his remarks, the Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman added: "Last week, the second political consultation between Iran and Bulgaria was held. There were good talks about the cooperation between the two countries and the latest developments."

According to Khatibzadeh, the Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif had a telephone conversation with his South Korean and Russian counterparts. Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein also met with Iranian officials during his visit to Tehran last week, he noted.

Khatibzadeh, about his latest trip to Syria, said: "I also had a trip to Syria last week and met with various Syrian officials. All the meetings were aimed at expanding media, scientific and cultural cooperation with Syria."
