Tehran (IP) - Deputy head of research and technology of Razi Vaccine and Serum Research Institute said the first phase of COV-Pars vaccine's human trial would most likely start early next week.

Iran Press/Iran News: Dr. Mohammad Hassan Fallah Mehrabadi stated on Wednesday: "The volunteer registration website for this study project has been open since Monday night, and until yesterday, about 100 volunteers registered, from which people will be selected to enter the study project."

He announced the number of volunteers in the first phase of the human test as 133 and noted that 13 people in the first group and the rest in four groups of 30 people would enter this study project.

COV-Pars is the first injectable-inhaled recombinant protein vaccine that was unveiled on Monday, February 8, at the Razi Vaccine and Serum Research Institute based in Iran's Karaj.
