Tehran (IP) - In a message to the Prime Minister and Emperor of Japan, Iran's President congratulated them on the arrival of the country's National Day.

Iran PressIran News: In Hassan Rouhani's message to the Japanese Prime Minister Suga Yoshihide, the Iranian President expressed confidence that the Tehran-Tokyo friendly relations would be further expanded in various economic and trade fields.

Rouhani said: "At a time when all the world are involved in the pandemic of COVID-19 disease and the international community is facing repeated political-security developments, fortunately, we are witnessing the continuation of cooperation and increasing consultation of high-ranking officials of the two countries at different levels and the two sides have made great efforts to expand bilateral relations and increase cooperation in various international arenas to create global stability and security."

"I am confident that with your support, the historical and friendly relations between Iran and Japan will be further expanded in various fields, especially economic and trade," Rouhani highlighted.

The President also sent a message to the Emperor of Japan to congratulate him on the National Day of Japan and his birthday.
