Tehran (IP) – An Iranian knowledge-based company has succeeded in implementing and using a smart agricultural system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) in Iran.

Iran Press/Iran News: The chairman of the board of directors of the Iranian knowledge-based company, Fariborz Nejad-Dadgar, stated that implementing appropriate smart agriculture models seemed to be essential to familiarize activists in this field.

He explained: IoT technology provides the farmer with reliable information about the seed to be planted, the seed rate, the best planting and harvesting time, and the crop forecast.

With this technology's deployment, the farmer receives the appropriate information in the form of graphics or video remotely through sensors installed in the farm, using a smartphone, and taking the necessary actions and decisions.

The smart agricultural system includes various sectors such as smart irrigation, reducing losses, and increasing farms, fisheries, and livestock.
